How do I know whether I have a PCR test or a Lateral Flow test?

A PCR test kit comes with a swab, a vial containing liquid, and a biohazard bag. This type of test requires online activation at peplobio.co.uk/activate - it also needs to be posted using the pre-paid shipping label in order for your sample to be processed in a laboratory. DO NOT send a sample in without online activation. The sample will not be processed unless activated online.

A Lateral Flow test comes with a test cassette, a swab, and a tube containing liquid. This type of test requires online activation at peplobio.co.uk/lfd and a photo of the test as evidence of the result. This test does not need to be posted.
